In this podcast, we will explain what the genuine individual is according to Taoism. In the Tao Te Ching and the Chuang Tzu text, there is a term used in Chinese known as zhenren. Zhenren is often translated as the true individual of Tao, the perfected person, or authentic sage. It is a genuineness that is natural to all beings, but usually only accessed by the great spiritual masters and is the essential characteristic of the mysterious Taoist sages. In this podcast we will unpack what the zhenren essentially means and how we can come back into alignment with it so that we can be an aperture for the Tao to enlighten the world.
